David Quinn (Contact Me)
David was born in Oxford, New Zealand, and moved to Gisborne at the age of 9. He was educated at Lytton High School. In 1969 he commenced employment with Graham & Dobson, with a 3 year break which included one year's experience with Tansley & Witt in Zimbabwe. He returned in 1976.
His client base consists of viticulturists, horticulturists, cropping and livestock farmers, together with a variety of commercial enterprises. He has a very good knowledge and wide experience with company and trust structures.
Having been in Gisborne now for over 40 years, David considers he can call himself a local, and it is definitely home. He is always promoting the region to friends and acquaintances, especially the family summer holiday spot of Anaura Bay. The district is truly his paradise.
David has 4 children with a 15 year spread in ages. He is a past BOT member of Central School where all four children attended. His other interests include the vineyard his family has a share in and his regular squash games at the Waerenga-A-Hika Squash Club, which he is also a committee member of. His daily walk to work is now a lot shorter since the move to 393 Gladstone Road.
