Our History
Andrew Graham commenced practice in 1898. He was joined in 1906 by his son-in-law Ralph Dobson who was admitted to the NZ Society of Accountants in 1908.
Ralph Dobson's son, Malcolm, and grandson, Paul, both pursued careers in chartered accountancy with the firm. Malcolm retired from the practice in 1982, and Paul in 1990.
In 2006 the firm celebrated 100 years of practising as Graham & Dobson (92 as a partnership and 8 as a company).
There are over 30 employees of the firm today.
In the 100 or so years the firm has practised as Graham & Dobson, there have been 16 principals.

The firm offers a comprehensive range of services with a strong base of farming clients. It is a well recognised substantial accountancy practice in the Gisborne/East Coast District.
Whilst retaining long standing family clients that date back to when the partnership commenced, the firm has developed and expanded into the modern highly computerised company, under which it practises today.
